Mata Expo 2017 to showcase multi cultural diversity.

Now on its second year in the Philippines, the one day Mata Expo is arm to cross borders and educate people in giving help for the selected Deaf Community in Manila this coming February 4 at One Esplanade in Pasay City.

Founding organizer George Taylor who happen to be a deaf, is opening Mata Expo to any field that can entertain and later create awareness that marginalize sectors needed, it started in 2005 in California, Mata from a Japanese word “Eye” or see you is been travelling from US, Japan, Cebu and here in Manila.

For this year, Mata Expo will highlight cosplay event, fashion show and contest by Lolita Fashion, and Tattoo Skin Art by the Philippine Tattoo Artist Guild. Entrance fee is depending on what event you want to participate, but a minimal fee of P250 is the standard for the whole day event.

Proceeds of the event goes to their chosen charity, and this year’s beneficiary are the  deaf students of Manila City High School, by giving them a certain software that translate thru words what teachers taught during classroom lectures.

Lolita’s Fashion is a community page in Facebook that encourages Victorian way of dressing, is highlighting the event by having costume contest like cosplay or even KPop attire competition, they aim to educate the young generation the beauty of dressing the old style way.

While the PTAG will screen upcoming artist in ink tattoo skin art, those participating artist will get accreditation from the group that will serve as its passes to Department of Health ruling, as clean and sanitized artist that practice good manner in doing this kind if business.
Mata Expo 2017 will have 100 booth around One Esplanade that offers many products and services, a discount for People with Disability is also enforce and free for Kids ages 12 and below. They open on Feb 4 from 9 in the morning up to 5 in the afternoon. One Esplanade is located in J.W Diokno Blvd around SM Mall Of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
